KUCHING: SugarBun, the leading Quick Service Restaurant in East Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam launched its ‘Prosperity Meals’ in conjunction with the upcoming Lunar Chinese New Year. The meals are themed ‘Nien Nien Yu Yee’ or Ever Prosperity.

“Prosperity Meals are launched annually to usher in the Chinese New Year celebration and treat all its valued customers with special discounts,” said SugarBun marketing manager Clara Chan at the meals launching here yesterday.

The meals come in three variants, Fish and Savoury Rice; Fish and Chips; and Fish and Broasted Chicken with Savoury Rice. The first two meals are priced at RM8.60 each while the Fish and Broasted Chicken with Savoury Rice is priced at only RM10.20 per meal.

Chan added that the Prosperity Meals offer the best combination of both SugarBun’s 100 per cent imported Hoki Fish Fillet from New Zealand and SugarBun’s ever popular Broasted Chicken.

Bigger and longer fish fillet which is crispier and tastier was how Chan described SugarBun’s Hoki Fish.

“These meal-sized fillets are produced from the highest quality Hoki fish and coated in crispy Japanese crumb. Cooked to authentic perfection, Hoki Fish Fillet is then deep-fried under controlled temperature and time to preserve the irresistible taste and is highly nutritious. Hoki fish’s flesh is moist, white and boneless,” said Chan.

“With the auspicious occasion of the New Year, SugarBun is taking this opportunity to wish all its valued customers a Prosperous New Year 2010, ‘Nien Nien Yu Yee’ and thank you for the support given throughout year 2009,” she said.

Prosperity Meals promotion will be available at all SugarBun restaurants until Feb 28 (Chap Goh Meh).
