KUALA TERENGGANU: Terengganu coach Irfan Bakri Abu Salim has rubbished claims that his team had used the services of ‘bomoh’ (shamans) in their 4-0 drubbing of Selangor during a Super League clash at Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah Stadium here on Saturday.
“After our win last night, there have been accusations that we had used the services of shamans …
“This is nothing but pure nonsense,” he said here yesterday.
Irfan attributed the emphatic victory over Selangor to the commitment and discipline shown by his players.
As of Saturday, both teams have played five games since the 2010 season of the league kicked off early this month.
Selangor, who had not lost a match before meeting Terengganu, are leading with 12 points while Terengganu are in second place, a one point behind. — Bernama
