KUCHING: Mita Cake House will be launching its new products and membership card this Saturday and Sunday at Jalan Tun Jugah and Petra Jaya outlets respectively.
The launching will be held from 10 am to 3 pm on both days.
According to its executive director, Jong To Ming, during the launch, customers will get 15 per cent discounts on kek lapis when they place an order.
“If they place their orders between Feb 1 to 10, they will only get 10 per cent discount on the kek lapis,” said Jong during a product preview recently.
Customers have more than 40 kek lapis flavours to choose from.
When asked on the new items launched, Jong said they were Peppermint-Chocolate Lapis, Banana Delight Nut, Carrot Healthy Nut and German Chocolate Nut. The latter three’s ingredients were imported from Germany, while all kek lapis are made using Golden Fern butter, a New Zealand product.

“For our membership card, our card holders will enjoy 15 per cent discount on all items and they will get special discounts during their birthday month and other inhouse promotions,” he added.
Apart from that, Mita is also introducing cupcakes to give away during birthdays and weddings. The basic designed, small-sized cupcakes are priced at 60 sen each, while the larger ones are priced from RM4 each.
Jong added that the more complicated designs will cost more.
