Test drive may be arranged, and bookings for the model are welcome.
This latest Tucson model consists of high level standard equipment – Blue Led Light Cluster and Trip Computer, Panoramic Sunroof, Engine Start/Stop Button, iPod Connectivity, Organ Type Accelerator Pedal and smart key to name a few.
What is more exciting is the exclusive warranty – five years or up to 300,000 km.
“With the automatic fuel gearbox, the owner can save a lot on maintenance.
“And for the long distance, 6-speed auto is very economical on fuel consumption,” said the managing director of RightPower Sdn Bhd, Philip Lau.
According to him, about 500 units of the new model are expected to arrive in Malaysia when the model is officially launched next month.
“So far, more than 200 units are under booking, of which 25 per cent are for the standard Tucson, 50 per cent brand new high speed Tucson and 25 per cent the 2.4 GLS Tucson,” he said.
Other updated features of the new model include the Hill-Start Assist Control and the Downhill Brake Control.
The Hill-Start Assist Control prevents backward rolling on steep ascends while engaging the Downhill Brake Control to control and maintain steady speed on steep downhill descents.
The Tucson’s safety is designed to provide peace of mind. The airbags on the driver’s and front passenger’s seats deploy at reduced force to prevent injury.
The on-the-road price with insurance for Tucson LM 2.0GL (standard) is RM128,888.00, Tucson LM 2.0GLS – RM138,888.00 and Tucson LM 2.4GLS – RM154,888.00.
