KOTA SAMARAHAN: Three suspects enjoyed brief moments of freedom after escaping from the lockup at Samarahan Police Station last Friday evening.They were recaptured by the police a few hours later.
This was confirmed by Samarahan District police chief DSP Abdul Rahman Ahmad when contacted by The Borneo Post’s sister paper, Utusan Borneo.
He said due to his men’s swift action, all three suspects were rounded up and arrested at a site near Samarahan hours after their escape.
He refused to comment further on the incident.
