SIBU: Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate for Sibu by-election Robert Lau Hui Yew launched his website yesterday.

The purpose of the website, he said, was to convey information to the public, to bring people closer to him and to tell them what he could do for the people in Sibu.
“In the website, I have a space for my voters so that they can leave messages or give me feedback on my campaign and my activities,” he said.
He said the language was mainly in Chinese as he tried to reach the Chinese voters which made up two thirds of the total voters in Sibu.
However, he said there were also some entries written in Malay and English in the website.
The main components of the website are his blog, daily collection of news, and local issues.
The daily collection of news, are news about him and his activities collected from at least five local newspapers.
“I also give answers and explanation on questions that were asked by my fans in Facebook,” he said.
