Visit AirAsia's booth at National Youth Day 2010 carnival

KUCHING: Jobseekers should head right over to check out AirAsia’s booth during the National Youth Day 2010 carnival at Perkarangan Persiaran Perdana (Precinct 2 & 3) Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) for walk-in interviews and career advice sessions.The AirAsia people and development (P&D) career advice sessions will be held at the PICC from May 14 to 16, and is open to jobseekers and the general public who are eager to know more about career opportunities in AirAsia.  The airline will also be conducting walk-in interviews during the three-day event for the positions of ground operations personnel and executives.

Minister of Youth and Sports Datuk Ahmad Shabery Cheek said, “The public, especially youths, are invited to come to our event and immerse themselves in the numerous activities at our carnival and expos. Here, they will be able to look for employment opportunities as we have many organisations setting up booths to offer career advice and job openings.

“AirAsia’s involvement in this year’s National Youth Day for instance, opens the doors to our youths to know more about carrier opportunities with the airline and flourish the industry with their energy and passion,” he added.

For the benefit of recent undergraduates, AirAsia will also be offering internship opportunities as a great prospect for them to learn about the day-to-day operations of an award- winning low cost airline and experience the great work culture of AirAsia.
