KOTA KINABALU: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak arrived here last night to attend to the prize giving ceremony of the annual sports gathering of wives of elected representatives, which will be held today.

He arrived on a special aircraft at 9.40pm at the Kota Kinabalu International Airport and on hand to welcome him were Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman as well as other dignitaries.
Shortly after his arrival, Najib witnessed the 1Malaysia Prime Minister’s Cup badminton competition, which is part of the annual gathering.
He is also scheduled to witness the finals of the event today.
On Sunday, Najib will grace the opening of Galleria Wanita Sabah here which will be launched by his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor.
Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin also arrived here last night.
He is scheduled to open Sepanggar Umno’s annual delegates meeting here today. – Bernama
