MIFB 2010 delights visitors from around the world

KUALA LUMPUR: The 11th Malaysia International Food and Beverage Trade Fair (MIFB 2010) delighted visitors from all over the world with endless ‘flavours’ through a dynamic showcase of products and services, covering 600 booths, at Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), Kuala Lumpur recently.

MIFB 2010 featured notable pavilions such as ‘1Malaysia Best’ Malaysia, ‘Wholesome’ China, ‘Rusiyageh’ India, ‘Khoshmazeh’ Iran, ‘Hansik’ Korea, ‘Tasty’ Singapore, ‘Authentic’ Taiwan, ‘Aroy’ Thailand, ‘Leziz’ Turkey and ‘Ho Chiak’ Xiamen.

MIFB 2010 was officiated by Datuk Seri Noh Omar, Minister of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry.

“MIFB is certainly a big complement to the ministry fs bi-annual MAHA event,” he remarked.

Also held concurrently with MIFB 2010 was the 6th Malaysia’s International Agro-Bio Business Conference. The conference was headed by Marditech Corporation Sdn Bhd (MARDITECH), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Malaysian Agriculture Research and Development Institute (MARDI).
