The group, which was established in 1982, had undergone aggressive expansion and transformation over the years.

In its press statement, it recently announced that its Glenmarie diagnostic

centre was ready and served as the group’s new operational headquarters (HQ), while its existing Ipoh HQ would serves as the administration HQ instead.

For that matter, it was also building a four-storey Ipoh diagnostic centre extension to accommodate more facilities, services and specialists joining this centre.

Last year, the group added three more diagnostic centres in Sungai Petani, Parit Buntar and Tanjung Malim which brought the total to 30 diagnostic centres throughout the nation.

In 2010, BP Healthcare is setting up another five diagnostic centres and enhancing imaging facilities in three more specialist diagnostic centres.

A figure of RM100 million was mooted for further expansion of the group’s range of facilities and services in the next three years.

BP Healthcare diagnostic centres provide primary care services to its clients, which do not only include professional medical consultations and dispensing, but also vaccinations, preventive health checks and complimentary distribution of health education materials.

The formation of BP Hearing Solution Sdn Bhd (BP Hearing Solution) last year marked another milestone as the new entity consolidated audiometric testing, noise mapping and personal noise monitoring with newly-added services such as fixing ear moulds and selling hearing aids under its own ‘Audy’ brand.

This is highly in tandem with the group’s current business focus in providing comprehensive primary healthcare services.
