KUCHING: PDRM A emerged champions of the men’s category in the 2010 Sarawak Maksak Inter-affiliate Badminton Competition as their ladies counterpart ensured a clean sweep as they bagged home the women title too.

Played at the Dewan Persatuan Badminton Bumiputera Sarawak (PBBS) recently, the competition was organised by the Majlis Sukan Dan Kebajikan Kastam Diraja Malaysia (MSKKDM) Cawangan Sarawak.
Aiming to foster closer ties among the affiliates, the annual competition this year was held from Oct 23- 31.
Sarawak Customs director Jamaiah Jol gave away the prizes.
As PDRM walked away with the championship trophy, the second place in the men’s category goes to PSKPP ‘A’ (Education) as PDRM ‘B’ took the last place on the podium.
In fourth place was team Pedas from SEDC.
In the women’s category, second place goes to team Medical as team Pertanian took the third place leaving team Kuport (Kuching Port Authority) to take the fourth place.
