KGS championship calling for entries

KUCHING: Organisers of the KGS Club Championship and Senior Club Championship are calling for entries for the event to be held this weekend at Kelab Golf Sarawak (KGS) this weekend.

This competition, for which only for KGS members are eligible to participate, will be played at the Matang/Santubong courses on Saturday and on the following day at Siol/Demak courses.

The Club Championship is limited to the first 60 KGS amateur golfers with a current USGA Handicap Index of 16.4 and below while the senior contest is limited to the first 60 amateur golfers aged 55 years and above on Nov 13, 2010 with a current USGA Handicap Index of 21.7 and below.

All interested players are to register their entries with their membership number and signature at the competition register at KGS by today at 12pm.

The player with the lowest gross score over 36 holes from any categories shall be declared the KGS Club champion while the player aged 55 years and above with the lowest gross score over 36 holes shall be declared the Senior Club champion.

Entry fee is RM150 per person which is inclusive of buggy fees for two days.
