KUCHING: A car driver was left seriously injured following a head-on collision with a four-wheel drive vehicle in Musi, near Bau, late Friday night.
TOTAL WRECK: One of the two vehicles involved in the accident.
The 44-year-old man was on his way to Singai with two passengers when his Proton car collided with a Mitsubishi Pajero driven by a policeman around 10pm.
The crash severely damaged both vehicles and left the driver of the Proton suffering from internal injuries.
His front seat passenger sustained only minor injuries, while the rear seat passenger and the policeman were unscathed.
The badly-injured victim was sent to Bau Hospital before being transferred to Sarawak General Hospital here around 2am and admitted for further treatment.
