KUCHING: Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors Sdn Bhd (HSDM) has announced the pricing of the new and updated Hyundai Santa Fe.

According to a press statement, the Santa Fe Theta II-2.4-litre petrol engine was now priced at RM158,888 on the road (OTR) with insurance while the Santa Fe ‘R’ 2.2 CRDi diesel engine at RM169,888 OTR with insurance.

The redesigned Santa Fe offered everything that an SUV enthusiast possibly wishes for, such as plenty of space for comfortable seats as well as the baggage compartment. The updated Santa Fe also provides comfort, control and safety even in a rough terrain, it said.
The Santa Fe, which received a Five Star NHTSA NCAP rating, was built using high tensile steel, reinforcements and equipped with dual airbags that ensured a very safe and stable passenger compartment to reduce injuries to the occupants.
It also came with an electronically actuated transfer of power to the front or all four wheels for control when driving on slippery road. Electronic Stability Programme with Anti-lock Braking System and Traction Control were among the other safety features of this SUV.
The statement said that the new Santa Fe came in five new colours; Vanilla White, Superior Red, New Sleek Silver, Hyper Metallic and Phantom Black.

HSDM offered its customers a five-year warranty or 300,000km extended warranty that assured all customers of any unexpected repair or cost due to manufacturing defect.
