KUCHING: In order to promote the writing skills of young authors, local publisher, Read Resources Sdn Bhd (Read Resources) is taking up the challenge to publish books written by young authors.
YOUNG AUTHORS: Read Resources recommends The Wonders of The Planets and Comets and The Rage of The Carnians Revenge, which are written by young authors.
According to a spokesperson, the publisher believed in continuously nurturing young writers to bring out their talents and sustain the quality of their writing skills.
The company recommended ‘The Wonders of The Planets and Comets’ by Raaman Nair, first printed in 2009 and ‘The Rage of The Carnians Revenge’ by Luke Michael, first printed in 2010 in its ‘A Book By A Young Author’ series of books.

Nair is 18 years old and has deep interest in the field of astronomy. He has more than five years experience in this field and is also active in attending numerous astronomy conventions. Nair has done PowerPoint presentations in his school on the Solar System, Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescope and Meade DS Series 3.5-Inch Telescope. He is actively involved in stargazing at his home using these telescopes. His long-term ambition is to be an astronomer in Nasa.

The Rage of The Carnians Revenge is an epic tale of how evil came into the world and took every good that was good left in it.
Etilies, son of Cranious and his army from Carnia challenged the land called Darkfire, a bloodthirsty and vengeful place where no good was found.
The first battle saw eight hundred Carnians standing to overpower all of Darkfire’s troups but they were outnumbered.
Only the prince survived, Etilies whom the evil king of Darkfire had mercy on. Etilies had nothing left in him but the thirst for revenge on the land that took everything he had.
Etilies escaped, returned home to Carnia and prepared for the war that he wanted the most to destroy the place that had taken lives of his loved ones that stood by him at war.
In the end, the Carnians get their revenge on Darkfire.
