KOTA KINABALU: DAP Sabah yesterday expressed its concern about the quality work in the construction of roads in Penampang district.

One good example, its secretary Dr Edwin Bosi said, was the newly sealed road to Kpg Inobong- Kibambangan.
He pointed out that some parts of the road have been known to be flood prone but the size of the drain did not reflect the actual situation.
Ironically, one drain was already blocked by poles belonging to a telecommunication company.
“DAP Sabah made an inspection and found at least three poles embedded in the drain.
“I was informed by a friend who uses this road daily that he has noticed this but thought that it was part of the tourism attractions of Penampang. We urge the relevant authorities to investigate this matter,” Dr Bosi said in a statement yesterday.
