These courses differ from qualifications and amount of modules offered in the programme.

Founder and managing director of the academy Alvin Leong said they are working together with Open University Malaysia and a panel of professional photographers to design programmes that will benefit young and adults.

“Our courses suit those who pursue photography as a hobby or as a career. Our students benefit not only from our courses but also the opportunity to network with industry pioneers from Malaysia and abroad.

“The academy associates itself with various partners in the photography industry to bring inspiration, advancement and instill industry standards for students,” he said.

There are three intakes for a year in February, June and September.

In conjunction with the upcoming intake for February 2011, the academy is currently offering giveaways of a new Canon 60D body with an EF 18-55mm kit lens for students who sign up.

Take note that this giveaway only applies to those who enroll for the Executive Diploma or Professional Diploma courses, and meets with the terms and conditions of this limited time offer.

At the education fair, the academy will have a booth set up to educate visitors on the available photography programmes offered.

In addition to the booth, the academy has also invited its associates from the Wedding and Portrait Photographers Malaysia (WPPM) to give a brief talk about professional photography industry and the opportunities in pursuing photography as a career.
