KUCHING: School leavers are invited to participate in Limkokwing’s Discovery Day, starting yesterday until Jan 15, with a range of workshops lined up, letting them to discover more on the right career choices.
This exciting action-packed week offers the widest possible range of interests from the world of design to architecture and from business to information technology.
Interesting, fun and forward thinking, the list of programmes gives potential students the chance to gain first-hand experience of university and student life.
It provides them a glimpse into university courses based on subject area of individual choice.
Students will be equipped with skill, knowledge, experience and confidence that will help them make the right choices for their future.
The workshops will be conducted by industry practitioners and talented Limkokwing academic team.
A workshop was held yesterday at 2pm to 5pm themed ‘Architecture Model Making Demonstration and Workshop’ by adjunct professor Philip Chang.
Today at 2pm, another workshop entitled ‘Caricature Demonstration and Workshop’ by Petrus Alfred Paul would be held.
Tomorrow, a workshop on Web Design by Usman Geidam Idris and Friday, ‘Story boarding, Script Writing and Comic Animation Workshop’ by Steven Lejeune will be conducted. Both workshops start at 2pm.
