Look at requests for school in Limbang — Assemblyman

LIMBANG: The federal government has been urged to consider the requests for new primary and secondary schools in this division under the 10th Malaysia Plan (10MP).

Making the call, Bukit Kota assemblyman Dr Abdul Rahman Ismail

said more schools were needed in the continued efforts to enhance and develop the level of education here.

“We strongly hope the government will approve the requests for the convenience of the locals,” he said when handing over Bantuan Kumpulan Wang Amanah Pelajar Miskin (KWAPM).

District Education Officer Mohd Dzul Badzli Abdullah, Information Officer Mohd Azlan Charles Abdullah

and Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (SJK) Chung Hwa headmaster Peh Yin Ling were among those present.

Dr Abdul Rahman pointed out that many primary schools here had the maximum number of students.

A sum of RM102,660 was distributed to 122 students, and the students came from 15 primary schools in the Bukit Kota constituency.
