KUCHING: The first ever four SIM card mobile phones are now available in Malaysia, exclusively from CSL.

The authorised distributor for CSL phones, Alpine Communications Sdn Bhd (Alpine Communications) announced the two new models – DS450 and i400 – yesterday.

Both phones are quad-SIM with dual standby and support Blueberry applications where users can download games, music and images.

Among other features of both models include Facebook, torchlight, FM radio, camera and mp3 player.

The DS450 is priced at RM299 while i400 is priced at RM179.

The phones are sold in full set, which includes the charger, cables and pouch. All phones have one-year warranty.

According to Alpine Communications sales manager Nick Chai, CSL comes up with new and improved products every month.

“For our Mi700 smart phone, we will have a new contract plan with DiGi starting March. Customers will be able to get the phone at RM799 for the 2-year contract, instead of the retail price of RM1599,” Chai said.

Mi700 runs on Android operating system and comes with WiFi, 3G, Mapking GPS, Android Market and camera.

Chai also pointed out that for new models, they are running on Nokia and Motorola batteries, making it easier to find replacement should anything happen to the phone batteries.

Besides the upcoming DiGi plan, there is also a new contract with Universal Music, which allows CSL phone users to download songs for free from the Blueberry application store. This will also be introduced in March.

“Also in the second quarter of 2011, from March until June, customers who buy CSL phones would stand the chance to take part in our lucky draw. There are attractive weekly prizes and a monthly grand draw of a Perodua Viva,” revealed Chai.

Alpine Communications will also take part in the PIKOM PC Fair in May.
