KUCHING: The Sarawak Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SSPCA) will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) tomorrow.

Chairman Rebecca D’Cruz urged all SSPCA members to turn up for the meeting to pool ideas on improving the society, its animal shelter and plan for more activities for the year.

The AGM will begin at 2pm at the Horizon Café, located on the 18th Floor, 360 Hotel Kuching.

The committee reminded members to be punctual.

Among the agenda is the reading of last year’s AGM report by the chairman and the presentation of 2011 Annual Report, followed by the Treasurer’s Report, as well as the deliberation on the development and activities of the society for the year.

Most importantly, members will elect the new Office Bearers for the year 2011/2012.

SSPCA would like to invite the general public to join the society in this exciting time by becoming a member, adopting an animal, volunteering or participating in any one of its upcoming events.

The society also encouraged their supporters to lend their voice in the battle against animal cruelty.

D’Cruz also added that letters of the AGM’s notice and agenda had been dispatched.

Members who have received the letters can contact the society via email [email protected] to confirm their attendance while who had not received their letters can contact the same address for further information.
