Pullman Kuching celebrates first anniversary

KUCHING: The town’s newest upscale international hotel Pullman Kuching celebrated its first anniversary yesterday with a loud ‘bang’  followed by golden confetti raining down on the guests after the ribbon cutting ceremony.

The hotel held its grand opening on March 26 last year.

Some 70 guests attended the anniversary at the hotel, includingthe specially-invited guest, Head of State Tun Datuk Patinggi Abang Muhammad  Salahuddin Abang Barieng.

Also present were Interhill Group of Companies’ managing director Datuk Hii Chang Pee and executive director Datin Lau Ngok Yung as well as Pullman Kuching’s general manager Eric Tan.

To mark its first anniversary, the hotel is offering 38 per cent discount on food and beverage (excluding alcoholic beverage) by presenting flyers to those dining from March 24 to 27, and Superior room at RM188 plus per room per night.

Guests also stand a chance to win fabulous lucky draw prizes by filling up their name, contact number and email on the flyer and dropping it in the lucky draw box.

The first prize is a 2D/1N weekend stay in the Deluxe Room with two buffet breakfasts, buffet dinner for two and two SPA RM50 cash voucher while second prize is a 2D/1N weekend stay in Superior Room with two buffet breakfasts, buffet dinner for two and two SPA RM50 cash voucher.

There are 50 consolation prizes of SPA RM50 cash vouchers.

The hotel also participated in the Earth Hour by minimising the lighting especially in the public area from 8.30pm to 9.30pm. It also encouraged hotel guests to switch off their lights during the period to support the event.
