GUA MUSANG: Three people were killed in an accident involving a Perodua Kancil car, a container lorry and an auto-transport truck at Km47.9 Jalan Gua Musang–Kuala Krai on Wednesday.
The dead are the car’s driver and passenger and the container lorry driver.
Gua Musang deputy police chief DSP Aziz Hassan said the accident occurred when the truck from Kuala Krai tried to avoid a stalled lorry.
“However, the car, which had been trailing behind, rammed into the rear of the truck and overturned before it was hit by the incoming container lorry.
“All three victims died at the scene due to severe head and bodily injuries,” he said.
The fire and rescue team took one hour to remove the three victims who were pinned on their seats. – Bernama
