SOUR LOSER: The car and wall splashed with paint, believed to be done by a rejected admirer.

SIBU: A car parked in the garage of a house at Lane 50, Ulu Sungai Merah Road was found splashed with red paint yesterday.

A portion of the front wall of the house was splashed with black paint.

A woman in her 20s and her mother heard a thud around 1.30am and dashed out of the house to check.

They also found two tins of paint on the floor.

They later lodged a police report.

The girl’s brother is working in Bintulu and their father is in Mukah.

She believed the mischief was committed by a middle-aged man whose advances she spurned a month ago.

She claimed the man had earlier hurled a hammer at her car, shattering its windscreen.

“After I spurned him, he threatened that he would not let me live in peace,” she said.
