KUALA LUMPUR: Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor has described music as a universal language connecting the human race to transcend barriers, skin colour and creed.

She said music understood human emotions even though it was played differently in diverse parts of the world.

The prime minister’s wife said music could move one to tears and at the same time, bring hope to causes which seemed to have been lost. — Bernama

She said this when launching ’24 Karaatz’, the second album from Goldkartz comprising brothers Manjit Singh and Sukhjit Singh here yesterday.

The album is also simultaneously released in the USA, UK, Europe, Canada and India.

Rosmah hoped that Goldkartz’s effort to reflect the true spirit of 1Malaysia would inspire others in the local entertainment industry. — Bernama
