RECOVERED: Two Rela members with the mountain bikes, believed to be stolen.
SIBU: Three men on two mountain bikes abandoned the machines and bolted into a lane on seeing Rela personnel.
The incident occurred in Rajang Park around 2am on Thursday.
Rela personnel alerted the police who arrived and took away the two new bikes.
Police believe they were stolen.
Those whose bicycles are missing recently are urged to go to the police station to identify them.
Meanwhile, a man from Sg Pasai suffered head injuries after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car when he was turning into Suarah Road at 7.30pm on Thursday.
Fabian, 27, was flung into a ditch by the impact of the collision.
He was sent to Sibu Hospital where he passed out on arrival.
