KUCHING: Some 80 representatives from the tourism industry, including Tourism Malaysia and those from other states, cruised the Sarawak River on Wednesday evening.
The boat ride included dinner, networking session, games and karaoke.
As the theme was ‘Flowers’, guests came in Hawaiian shirts and floral dresses.
They also received a flower corsage, orchid garland and straw hats with flowers. Among those present were Tourism Malaysia marketing division director Abdul Rahman Shaari, Sarawak Cultural Village general manager Jane Lian Labang, Sarawak Tourism Board chief executive officer Datuk Rashid Khan, as well as Tourism and Heritage permanent secretary Ik Pahon.
