Islamic Cultural Festival for Santubong rescheduled to today

KUCHING: The grand finale of the Islamic Cultural Festival for P193 Santubong, which is originally scheduled on Friday has been moved to a day earlier, to be held today at the same venue of Kampung Sourabaya Ulu at 8pm.

A press statement sent by the office of P193 Santubong, stated that Malaysian parliamentary speaker Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia is expected to officiate at the event.

His deputy Datuk Dr Haji Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, who is also MP Santubong, will be there to make his welcoming remarks for the competition.

Malaysian artiste Yassin, famous for his song “Mimpi Laila”, will make an appearance to entertain the crowd.

To appreciate the presence and support of the audience, the organiser had sponsored lucky draw prizes in the form of two Demak motorcycles.

All are welcomed to witness the competition.
