KUALA LUMPUR: Maxis Bhd (Maxis), in collaboration with the Malaysian-International Fashion Alliance (MIFA), yesterday launched ‘The Twelve’.

The unique fashion concept store on the ground floor of fahrenheit88 in Bukit Bintang here, promotes Malaysian designers and provides them with a platform to showcase and sell their designs to a new target market.

Maxis vice president of product, device and innovation T Kugan said The Twelve would be an ideal location for the hosting of monthly fashion shows.

Maxis customers would enjoy discounts and special privileges on items at the store, he said in a statement.

The Twelve serves as an extension and continuation of the fashion portal www.fashionista.my that was introduced by Maxis in November 2010.

The fashion concept store also brings the fashionista.my platform beyond business-to-business to consumers.

The twelve Malaysian designers/brands housed and stocked at the store are Tom Abang Saufi, Radzuan Radziwill, Key Ng, Sasha Rowena, Benson Chen, Sinju Pearls, Zero to Ten, PU3, uREKA, BDA, YODA and jKhan. — Bernama
