SANDAKAN: A teacher brought her nine-year-old daughter to lodge a police report yesterday after the girl was allegedly raped by a male staff of the school.
District police chief ACP Rowell Marung said the female teacher found out that her daughter had often followed the male staff to the fourth floor of the boarding school.
Her daughter told her mother that the male staff had brought her up to the fourth floor for sex at least twice between March 2 and April this year.
After hearing the shocking news, the teacher brought her daughter to the police to lodge a report immediately.
The minor was then taken to the general hospital for a medical check-up.
Meanwhile, Marung said that the suspect was on leave.
