SJK (C) St James pupils win Citykids Colouring and Drawing Competition

KOTA KINABALU: Two SJK (C) St James pupils won the first prizes of the City Kids 2011 Colouring & Drawing Competition, a sub-event of the IPEX Exhibition organized by Sabah PAM chapter on April 23 at Sabah Trade Centre atrium here.

Chong Ka Zen won the colouring contest for Primary 1 to 3 pupils and Anthony Chong won in the drawing contest for Primary 4 to 6 contestants.

The second prize of the colouring contest went to Vanessa Yu Rui Ling of SJK (C) Yue Min, Penampang and third prize to Chin Bao En of SJK (C) Yue Min, Penampang.

Taking home the consolation prizes were Beatrice Sia Tze Shiuan of SJK (C) Chung Hua, Likas; Jacqueline Lay of SJK (C) St James; Wong Chun Haw of SJK (C) Chung Hua, Likas; Kennice Sia Tze Roong of SJK (C) Chung Hua, Likas; Kalsah of SJK (C) Lok Yuk, Menggatal; Sum Kok Siang of SJK (C) Lok Yuk, Menggatal and Eunice Sia Tze Xian of SJK (C) Chung Hua, Likas.

The second and third prize winners of the drawing contest were Richard Ling Jia Li of SJK (C) Lok Yuk, Likas and Rachel Winnie Chin of SJK (C) Yick Nam, Inanam respectively.

The consolation winners were Joshua Wong Zin Loong of SJK (C) Chung Hwa, Likas; Amy Sum of SJK (C) Lok Yuk, Likas; Michael Vun Yi Lung of SJK (C) Yick Nam, Inanam; Monica Vun Yi Ting of SJK (C) Yick Nam, Inanam; Thee Vui Jun of SK (C) Anglo Chinese, Penampang; Jason Ng Chan Fung of SJK (C) Lok Yuk and Wong Yie Chee of SJK (C) Chung Hwa, Likas.

Children from primary schools around the Kota Kinabalu city area participated in the event, with the theme “Colours of Our City”.

The competition was strongly supported and sponsored by City Top Enterprise Sdn Bhd, a leader in metal roofing and wall cladding solutions in Inanam.
