No arrest yet in robbery at home of MP

KOTA KINABALU: No arrest has been made yet in connection with the robbery at the house of Batu Sapi member of parliament Datin Linda Tsen Thau Lin.

Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Hamza Taib said no new development has surfaced and police are still investigating the case.

In the incident on Wednesday, Tsen’s house at Taman Likas Jaya was broken into by three masked men who were armed with machetes.

The robbers escaped with an iron safe and other items after tying up, gagging and threatening the maid.

The robbers had entered the house by climbing over the fence before prising open the kitchen door and disconnecting the electricity supply and the CCTV cable.

It was said that the incident happened between 8pm and 10pm on May 11 when Tsen was in Sandakan to attend a wedding reception while her four children are in Australia.
