SINTOK: Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) today inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to form a smart partnership with Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP).The agreement was signed by UUM Vice-Chancellor Prof Datuk Dr Mohamed Mustafa Ishak and UniMAP Vice-Chancellor Brig General Datuk Prof Dr Kamarudin Hussin here yesterday.
Mohamed Mustafa said among the objectives of the collaboration was to share skills and expertise in administration, academic development, student development, research and development (R&D) as well as academic resource development.
He said it would also reduce costs for the country’s higher education sector by increased effectiveness through the sharing of skills and resources by both varsities. — Bernama
