SIBU: About 50 people attended the Democratic Action Party (DAP) Consultative Forum at Paramount Hotel yesterday.

The forum, which started at 3pm, gave participants the opportunity to voice out their grievances and problems.

State DAP chairman Richard Wong Ho Leng said the synopsis gathered would be brought up for debate at the State Legislative Assembly and Parliament.

“There are 12 constituencies under DAP and we are not just representing 12 constituencies but the whole state,” he said.

Most participants seemed to be unhappy with the condition of roads here.

Issues such as placements of teachers from West Malaysia, environment, and palm oil plantation development were also brought up.

Also present at the forum were Dudong assemblyman Yap Hoi Liong and Pelawan assemblyman David Wong Kee Woan.
