MIRI: Renowned local motivator Dr Shukri Abdullah will conduct an educational seminar on July 3 at the Pustaka Miri auditorium.
Organised by the Miri Malay Association, the one-day seminar is targeted at students sitting for Penilaian Menengah Rendah (PMR), Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) and Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) this year as well as their parents.
The seminar for students will be from 8am to 3pm, while the session for parents will be from 3.15pm to 4.30pm.
For students, the seminar will cover tips on how to answer examination questions, time management, motivation and selfdiscipline, while parents will be given tips on how to assist their children in facing examinations.
“The seminar could assist students to plan their activities and use the available time in a more efficient manner before the examination and to achieve excellent results in their examinations.
Thus students and parents are encouraged to attend the seminar,” said Siti Hajijah Abdullah Sani on behalf of the organiser.
Students who register on their own will be charged a fee of RM90, while those who register in groups of 10 and above need only pay RM70 each.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided as well as the workbook ‘TemanPeriksa’.
