Tapir
KUANTAN: Personnel from various rescue teams and villagers join forces to pull out a male tapir which was trapped inside a drain at Kempadang Perdana housing area in Kuantan.
The effort involved Fire and Rescue Department, National Park and Wildlife Protection Department, Malaysian Public Defence Department and villagers. The mammal was finally rescued and released to the nearby swamp area.— Bernama photo
