KUCHING: Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd (ETCM) introduces a new and improved Nissan Grand Livina, offering multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) customers an enhanced model that is sportier and more contemporary in look.
Renowned for its sedan-like drivability and the smoothness of its ride, as well as good handling whilst seating seven occupants, the new Grand Livina was expected to reassert its reputation as a value-for-money, high-quality MPV.
“Since its introduction in December 2007, the Grand Livina has become one of the most popular MPVs in Malaysia, with over 43,300 units on the road. ETCM intend to further expand its popularity with this facelift version,” said ETCM Kuching sales manager Alex Chan Chung Ling.
“Visually, the face lifted Grand Livina is distinguished by its new-look front grilles – the 1.6L model gets a smoke-plated design while the 1.8L’s is a fully chrome item,” said Chan. “Both designs add to the already attractive external appearance of the Grand Livina, complemented by new wing mirror-mounted LED side indicators.”
He further explained, “This best-selling non-National MPV is now finished in black, giving its spacious interior a distinctive sporty appeal. This is further enhanced by white-faced instrument dials for optimum legibility. The 1.8L variant also comes with an audio head-unit player with Auxiliary input for portable audio devices.”
Powering the new Grand Livina is Nissan’s proven all-aluminium four-cylinder petrol engine; namely the HR16DE 1.6L (77kW/105ps at 5,200rpm; 150Nm at 4,400rpm) and MR18DE 1.8L (93kW/126ps at 5,200rpm; 174Nm at 4,800rpm) which provides fuel efficiency without sacrificing performance.
The on-the-road price (inclusive of insurance, road tax, registration fee and ownership claim fee) for East Malaysia (1.6MT – RM89,800), (1.6AT – RM92,800) and (1.8AT – RM101,800).
The new Nissan Grand Livina comes with a three-year or 100,000 km warranty (whichever comes first). For more information, contact ETCM Kuching branch at 082-368826 or visit www.nissan.com.my.
“Test drives can also be arranged at your nearest Nissan showroom,” Chan concluded.
