Naim appoints Radzali as consultant lecturer for upcoming institute

KUCHING: Property development and construction group, Naim Holdings Bhd (Naim) yesterday announced it was appointing Radzali Alision as consultant lecturer for its soon to be established Naim Advanced Institute of Management.

The institute, to be based in Miri, was an outcome of Naim’s recently formulated Corporate Transformation Plan wherein one of its objectives was to groom its people to prepare for the future growth of the group. Naim aspired to be a RM5 billion company by 2020.

The company on Friday announced the resignation of Radzali as its executive director. He assumed his new role from July 1.

Radzali had been with Naim since 2005 as the head of property investment and overseas business. In January 2008 he became vice president – market intelligence of Naim. In March 2009 he was redesignated as vice president of property to handle the property development, sales and marketing of the group.

He graduated from London South Bank University in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Estate Management. Radzali is an affiliated member of the Royal Institution of Surveyors, United Kingdom, and Institute of Surveyors Malaysia. In addition to that, he is also a registered valuer and estate agent under the Valuers, Appraisal and Estate Agent Act Malaysia.

Radzali was a director of CH Williams, Talhar, Wong and Yeo Sdn Bhd, a chartered surveyor and international property consultant firm before joining Naim group. From 2005 to 2008, he was a deputy chairman of the Miri Municipal Council and was deputy mayor of Miri City Council.

Radzali’s executive position as head of property would be taken over by Vincent Kueh, a senior executive director of the group who had been involved in the property and construction industries since 1983.
