Prince crowned sepak takraw champ

BINTULU: Prince team emerged champion by defeating Jepak B3 in the final of Sepak Takraw Championship League Sports for All Levels Bintulu Division at Taman Sri Pelabuhan Sungai Sepait multipurpose hall recently.

As champion they walked away with cash RM400, trophies and accompaniment prizes.

Coming in second, third and fourth were Jepak B3,Lancang Kuning and Bomba.

They received cash RM300, RM200 and RM100 with trophies and also other additional prizes.

The tournament was organised by Bintulu Youth and Sports Office in collaboration with Bintulu Sepak Takraw Organisation (BSB) and Taman Sri Pelabuhan neighbourhood watch (KRT).

Zaiedy Nor Abu Nasir the political secretary to Bintulu Member of Parliament officiated at the prize giving ceremony.

Also present were BSB vice president Saif Mohamad, Taman Sri Pelabuhan KRT chairman Awg Faizol Awg Sallam, the league coordinator Abd Rani Jemi and the sepak takraw coordinator Awgku Nasir Pengiran Kerta.

A total of 19 teams took part in the tournament.
