University of Derby holds interview session in Sibu today

SIBU: The University of Derby is holding an interview session at the NATiONWiDE Management Services at Tanahwang Centre in Pedada Road today from 1.30pm till 4.30pm.

The University’s international recruitment officer for South East Asia, Sarah Caine, said the university is a modern, friendly midland university formed in 1992 (originated since 1851).

University of Derby offers courses such as Arts, Design and Technology which cover engineering, fashion, media, humanities and architecture.

In addition to that, the University also offers courses in Business, Computing and Laws which cover accounting, business, computing and law.

“At Buxton (another campus), we offer event management, travel and tourism, hospitality and spa management.”

“In Derby, students enjoy fantastic facilities, pay competitive tuition fees, live in a safe city where the cost of living is reasonable, receive an internationally recognised qualification and benefit from our close links with industry and employers,” Sarah said.

She also added that their dedicated International Students Centre helps students throughout their courses such as providing visa and immigration advice, English Language support, helping students to adapt to life in the United Kingdom.
