SIBU: Bumiputera entrepreneurs could compete with other successful entrepreneurs at the same level if they possessed determination and passion.
“Business people are risk takers, they risk throwing in big investment but do not expect easy way in profit making. Sacrifice is very important.
“While competition has no exception in every business, the attitude of every entrepreneur in facing the competition is important for success.” said Nangka assemblyman Dr Annuar Rapaee at the official opening of Bazaar Ramadan Plaza Sibu, yesterday
The event was jointly organised by MARA and the MARA Tenant Association.
He also said that one of the most important factors in business is sacrifice.
Dr Annuar said as the people’s representative, he aims to ensure the improvement and development of bumiputera entrepreneurs.
“I understand that bumiputera entrepreneurs in Sibu are lagging quite far behind everyone else but I hope that I will succeed in this task,” he said.
Also present at the function was the director of MARA, Sahzali Salleh.
