SIBU: The Borneo Post and See Hua Daily News joined in the fun at Giant Hypermarket’s recent opening by setting up a promotion booth there to show their appreciation to new subscribers.
Sales representative Ling Lee Duan said the special promotion period for See Hua was from August 12 to 18 while it’s from August 1 to Oct 31 for The Borneo Post.
He explained that those who subscribed to The Borneo Post for at least half a year within this period would receive an umbrella worth RM15.
“Those who subscribe to See Hua for a year will receive two bottles of honey, an umbrella and also get to read the Chinese daily for free for an extra four months!”
Ling added that public response to the special promotion was overwhelming.
He urged those who were not subscribers of either newspaper to do so now so as not to miss the promotional giveaways.
