KUALA LUMPUR: Police detained three men, aged between 21 and 31, believed to be members of a drug-trafficking syndicate after a high-speed car chase along Bukit Bintang around 10.30 Tuesday night.
“We seized methamphetamine weighing 12gms and cannabis weighing 500gm,” said Dang Wangi district police chief ACP Zulkarnain Abdul Rahman.
Zulkarnain said police had earlier trailed a car with three men who were acting suspiciously.
“The car sped off after realising the presence of police, prompting police to give chase. Police also fire two shots which hit the door and tyre of the car, causing it to hit a road divider and skid.
