5.2-magnitude quake hits Hindu Kush region

KABUL: An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale jolted Hindu Kush region, Afghanistan at 4.22am local time on Thursday, Xinhua News reports the US Geological Survey as saying.

The epicentre, with a depth of 55.70 km, was some 208 km north of the country’s capital city of Kabul. There were no immediate reports of casualties or property damage.
