SIBU: The Nangka NGO and Community Secretariat plans to gather all the NGOs and community bodies in Nangka under one roof to get all of them to be pro-active, said its chairman Dr Isa’ali Wasli.
He said this when met after attending a Hari Raya gathering cum 77th anniversary celebration of the Malay Union Club (MUC)held at the MUC Hall, recently.
Isa’ali added that once all of the bodies were pro-active, they would be able to contribute immensely towards creating a better environment for the people in Nangka in particular and Sibu in general.
Besides that, through the secretariat, all the NGOs’ and community bodies could also help in the effort to lift up the living standards of the people and their children’s education through constructive ideas and creative efforts to realise it, he said.
To ensure this happens, he reminded all NGOs and and community bodies in the Nangka area are to return their database form to once they had completed it.
He said to date the secretariat had distributed 30 database forms to the respective NGOs’ and community bodies in the Nangka area.
He added, the database form must be submitted before or by Oct 6.
