KUCHING: A woman lost her purse while being treated at the emergency room of the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) around 10am yesterday.
The victim in her 40s lodged a police report over the incident.
After receiving treatment from a doctor at the SGH, she said she noticed her handbag was opened and her purse in it was missing.
She said she had left her handbag at the waiting room when doctor was treating her.
According to images recorded by SGH’s closed-circuit television (CCTV), a man who was with his family was seen taking something out of the woman’s handbag.
The recording has been sent to the police to assist in the investigation.
