SANDAKAN: The police arrested 14 secondary school students from a school at Mile 1.5, Labuk Road here for involving in a gang fight at 7am yesterday.
Some of the students suffered minor injuries.
The school authority called the police and the students were remanded by the police to facilitate further investigation.
Meanwhile, police confiscated another seven slot machines and arrested a man in their continued operation against illegal amusement centres.
District police chief ACP Rowell Marong said the operation was carried out at Oldslipway here at 10.30pm on Monday night.
The police also confiscated 14 slot machines with the arrest of two caketakers on Sunday.
They would be prosecuted under the Open Gambling Act 1953.
