PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia will for the first time host the Student in Free Enterprise (SIFE) World Cup, which will be held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from Oct 3 to 5.
International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed said Malaysia was the second Asian country to be given the honour to host the prestigious event, after Singapore in 2008.
He said some 2,500 participants from 38 countries would betaking part in the annual event and that it would certainly have a big impact on students of local institutions of higher learning. — Bernama
