KUCHING: Sancora Paints Marketing Sdn Bhd (Sancora) will be launching its latest luxurious textured wall paints, namely the Italia series during the Sarawak Builders Expo (Sarbex) 2011 Total Living expo to be held on September 30 till October 2 at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching.

GOOD PROSPECTS: Lee posing in front of the Sancora factory in Kuching. With the new Italia series launched, he has no doubts about the performance of the products in the market as quality speaks for itself.

With the group’s priority focused on quality, Sancora has further made its mark as an elite name in Malaysia with the launch of its latest Italia Uno (Uno) and Italia Due (Due), the two products under the Italia series.

According to business development manager of Sancora, Kevin Lee, the product had so far received a stream of positive responses since its launch two months ago.

“As the product makes its way into the Sarawakian market here, we have no doubts regarding its performance within the state as the quality speaks for itself. Both the series have caught the attention of interior designers who have cultivated the paints into their designs,” highlighted Lee.

What made the products so appealing according to Lee was not only their long-lasting time-span but fashionable and trendy colours. This as Lee noted, provided an array of choices for not only designers but property developers, hoteliers and end-users who wished to add some spice to their residences.

Indeed, its tagline ‘fashion for walls’ was metaphorically used to portray the elements its manufacturers wished to convey to its consumers. Additionally, the unique identity exhibited by the Italia series was its wall-paper resemblance that came in paint-form.

The difference between Uno from Due according to Lee was the metallic textured wall paint of Due that made it diverse from the stone-textured Uno.

Sancora which was established in 1974 has throughout the years, invested in European technology and

designs as part of its research and development. Hence, the technology of the two new models, Uno and Due were sourced from Italy.

Both models have a collection of 36 colours each with Colour A1 Grey being the favourite amongst many in the Uno model and Livorno Grey Orange being the most popular in the Due series.

The group is the first to launch the Italia series in Malaysia and was aiming for the large pool of end-users, property developers and interior designers in the upcoming Sarbex organised by the Sarawak Housing and Real Estate Developers Association (Sheda).

The company’s expertise ranges from textured, interior products and exterior products, all of which are wall-finished. Furthermore, its business is also focused on other areas like heavy duty industries, wood decorative, undercoat and prime – just to name a few.
