SIBU: Close to 15 universities and colleges will take part in the Global Education Fair Roadshow, scheduled to be held throughout the state on the first week of October.
The roadshow will start in Kuching on Oct 1 at Four Points by Sheraton, followed by Sibu on Oct 2 at Tanahmas, in Binutlu on Oct 3 at New World Suite and in Miri on Oct 4 at Imperial Palace Hotel.
All the exhibitions will start on weekdays at 2pm and end at 6pm. For the weekend fair, it will start from 1pm to 5pm at the fair,” the spokesperson added.
“We welcome all students and graduates especially SPM, STPM, UEC Foundation, A-Levels and diploma holders to attend the roadshow. Those who wish to continue to higher level of education should give themselves a chance by turning up at the fair,” a spokesman from GES Global Educational Services here said.
The participating institutions are The University of Nottingham, Taylor’s University, Sunway University, Monash University Sunway College, Curtin University Sarawak, UCSI University, Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus, Berjaya University College of Hospitality, Kaplan Financial & Kaplan Business School (UK), INTO University Partnerships (UK & USA), SAIBT 9Universituy of South Australia, London School of Business & Finance and many more.
The spokesman said it was vital for students to pave their tertiary pathway in order to have a successful career and more promising future.
“Through here, you can get hands-on information on the courses, fees accommodation and other important matters from the representatives at the fair. It is important and advisable to bring along your forecast result or current result to the fair because the representatives will be able to advice right on the spot about the eligibility in entering a particular course.”
